STEPHEN MYONG
AREA REPRESENTATIVE, New Hampshire
Since moving to the U.S., I have been actively involved in high school ministry, driven by my passion for reaching young lives. For 20 years, I served as a pastor in rural Illinois, which provided me with a wonderful opportunity to connect with students, faculty, and coaches.
After resigning from the church, I joined FCA ministry as an area representative. Over the past decade, my family and I have vacationed in Hampton, where I quickly recognized the need for ministry among young people. Seeing this, I felt called to serve the community, and I believe FCA provides the perfect opportunity to do so. Three years after joining FCA ministry, my wife, Michele, and I made the decision to move to Hampton, New Hampshire, to fully embrace this calling.
God has blessed me with three wonderful daughters: Sophia, Eileen, and Annabelle. Sophia is married to a godly man named Michael. She is a high school math teacher in DeKalb, Illinois. Eileen is a junior at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, majoring in sociology. Annabelle is a freshman at Northern Illinois University, majoring in business. My prayer for them is that they continue to love and serve Jesus. I’m excited to see how God will unfold the next chapters of our lives.
