JEFF MILLER

Talent Advancement COORDINATOR

After a successful 19-year career in the IT industry — that included traveling the world doing business on six of seven continents including spending much time in the United States and Canada, Jeff Miller now wants to make a difference in his corner of the world. Borrowing from Bob Buford’s book Halftime, Miller says, “I’ve experienced success, but I’m searching for significance.” And as the Northeast Region’s Director of Talent Advancement he is eager to pour into a ministry that he sees making a difference in the spiritually-deprived Northeast.

Miller’s involvement with FCA began in 2012 when he was looking for a way to “give back” to his community and was approached by FCA’s Sean McNamara about getting involved. Before long, he was leading the way as the Upstate New York FCA Board Chair and making a difference not just in his local community, but across his entire state.

When it comes to sports, Miller knows the positive influence that can be found on the field of competition. “I just can’t imagine a better avenue or intersection point to make an impact for the Kingdom,” said Miller, who played baseball in high school and now coaches youth basketball and runs to stay active. “My years with CGI have helped me develop recruiting tools and techniques to identify talent that I can now share with the team members and staff at FCA to ensure a strong foundation for lasting growth.”

After surrendering his life to Christ in high school, Miller attended the University of Buffalo where he earned a BS in Business Administration. He soon began a career with global technology powerhouse CGI and, at one point, was the company’s youngest vice president.

Miller and his wife, Becky, reside in Penfield with their two children. Recently, he was named “Team Dad” for his son’s FCA 2024 lacrosse team by the fellow parents, and enjoys watching his son and other boys growing deeper in their faith and stronger on the field. “I had a great partnership with CGI for 19 years, and I’m excited about the opportunity to make a difference here and to be home much more as a husband and father,” Miller said.
