Ministry Advancement COORDINATOR

FCA ministry is a perfect fit for Margaux Poplaski, who possesses both a strong faith in Christ and plenty of experience as a standout field hockey player and coach. Poplaski was a three-year starter as a goalkeeper in the University of New Hampshire’s Top 10 nationally-ranked field hockey program from 2003-2007. Following her playing career, she coached at the collegiate level for four years. With a desire to help coaches and athletes infuse their faith into competitive sports, she started work with FCA in 2011.

She has served as both an Area Representative and Maine State Director – working with coaches and athletes alike to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the region. In 2018, Poplaski stepped up to become FCA’s new Regional Camp Coordinator.

With a new focus on supporting the camp ministry and equipping coaches with valuable teaching tools, Poplaski is excited for what God is going to do next through FCA Camps. “I am really looking forward to serving our staff as we continue to develop a big picture strategy for the Northeast and how we view our camps,” says Poplaski. “The heartbeat of FCA is to engage, equip and empower coaches in our ministry. I look forward to advancing our camp ministry through the lens of coaches.”

Margaux will also be working on administering FCA Camps in Maine, as well as building stronger community ties with the camp programs. “We have gained some ground in Maine,” says Poplaski. “We are ready for the next step, which is strategizing how we do our camps and tailoring the specific needs of our community.”

She lives in Hampden, Maine with her husband Seth and their two daughters, Evie and Emmy. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”Proverbs 3:5-6
